9 Places to Have Thanksgiving Dinner in DFW

9 Places to Have Thanksgiving Dinner in DFW

For most of us, the holidays are a time of family, friends, fun, and food. Turkey, ham, sweet potato casserole…….so many goodies prepared and presented on one table all for the purpose of being thankful. One of my must haves is pumpkin pie but otherwise I am pretty flexible.

Personally, I work a lot at this time of year so I miss out on some of that. If you don’t have the time to cook or just don’t feel like it this year, you have some options for eating out. Be sure to check out their websites for reservation requirements.

Eddie V’s

Known for their seafood, they also offer holiday delights such as turkey with gravy, brioche sage stuffing, and cranberry chutney. I was fortunate to enjoy a holiday dinner one year and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. In DFW you have two locations to choose from. Prices are $42 for adults and $15 for children.

Mille Lire

I have never had the pleasure of having dinner at Mille Lire but I hope to very soon. I included them because they put a little spin on their holiday brunch………a prosecco brunch! For those of you who know me, you already know wines get my attention!

Appetizers include butternut squash and crab bisque, cauliflower diavola, and polenta (among others) while their main course includes salmon benedict, carbonara Mille Lire, and roasted turkey.

The prosecco brunch is $39 and includes one entree and a pitcher of prosecco infusion. That’s a whole lot of yummy for not a lot of cash. Totally a holiday win!

3102 Oak Lawn Ave, Dallas

Perry’s Steahouse & Grille

I haven’t been to Perry’s in a while but I do remember the prime beef carpaccio. Known for their steaks they are offering traditional Thanksgiving turkey and pumpkin pie with chantilly cream. $49.95 for adults and $15 for children.

2400 West Highway 114, Grapevine

2000 McKinney Ave, Dallas

Cru Food & Wine Bar

I first became acquainted with Cru when I lived in Austin, and back then I went for the wine selection. Since then I have had multiple opportunities to enjoy their food. For Thanksgiving you can enjoy three courses with entree choices including roasted turkey breast, seared scallops, filet mignon, or herb crusted salmon. $42 for adults while children age 12 under and under are 1/2 off.

Seasons 52

I have never been to Seasons 52 but I plan to. What appealed to me about their holiday dinner is their “Never Ever Turkey.” The name comes from the fact that the turkey that they serve has never been given antibiotics. In addition to their “Never Ever Turkey,” you can enjoy mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, and other traditional fare. Adults are $27.95 and children are $13.95. A lot of food for a great price.

7300 Lone Star Dr, Plano

Del Frisco’s

When I think of Del Frisco’s, I think of steak. Even if you eat only from the bar menu, you will be pleased. Now you have the option of letting them do the cooking for you. You can enjoy roasted turkey breast, mashed sweet potatoes, green beans, and pumpkin cheesecake. $49 per person.

St. Martin’s Wine Bistro

This chic French restaurant will not disappoint you on Thanksgiving Day. You can enjoy traditional turkey, rainbow trout, pork loin Normande, and steak Diane just to name a few. You can also enjoy white Godiva chocolate cheesecake, pecan pie, or chocolate terrine. They offer a good selection so you will definitely find something no matter your preference. Adults are $45 and $30 for children.

3020 Greenville Ave, Dallas

Table 13

You have a lot of options at Table 13. Not only do they offer a prix fixe three course Thanksgiving dinner, but they will also offer select favorites from their regular menu. If you are not in the mood for turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes, you can order items such as lemon caper chicken, sea bass, or shrimp scampi. $36.95 for adults while $15 for children for Thanksgiving Dinner.

Ruth’s Chris

If you have picky eaters, this place is a great option. You can choose from their 3-course Thanksgiving dinner with turkey with sausage and herb stuffing OR you can order from their menu. $39.95 per person.

813 Main Street, Fort Worth

1900 Cedar Springs Road, Dallas

17840 Dallas Parkway, Dallas

The great thing about living in DFW is you have options. There are other restaurants that are offering Thanksgiving Dinner but I selected just a few of my favorites. Be sure to check the websites for any restaurant you are interested in because they may have reservation requirements.

Some years we cook, some years we go out. The only thing we do for sure is to enjoy a day of family and food. I hope you do the same and be thankful!

Make this beautiful day count!
